Good For: People who remember when men were men, women were women, and plumbers wore little hats and smashed turtles.
Not for: WoW players
It’s hard out there for a plumber and for 25 years Mario and his brother have been smashing turtles and taking names. While I’m not a huge fan of the modern games, All-Stars includes SMB 1, 2 and 3 as well as a special DVD/soundtrack called Super Mario History 1985 – 2010. Inside you’ll also find a booklet recapping recent Mario history plus instructions on giving yourself the same cramps you used to get when playing with original NES gamepad.
Pick this up for the non-gamer in your life and spend a little time with a game that defined a generation. Plus $30 for a Wii game with limited edition DVD isn’t too bad.
